Chancy Spieker
My name is Chancy and I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Garretto since 2005. I have been working as a medical secretary for many years and will be happy to take your messages and schedule your appointments. I have been married for 21 years to a Kenosha firefighter and have one son and one spoiled dog! My outside interests include spending time with family and friends. I enjoy traveling and going to Brewer and Badger games and of course, watching the Packers!
Laura Nelson
My name is Laura and I recently transferred up front to the reception area from the business office. I joined Genesis in February, 2008, although I have been in the medical field for 14 years. I will be taking your messages and helping you with any scheduling items that you may have. I can also help answer any questions you might have regarding your bills or outstanding balances. I have a bachelor's degree in Management/Communications from Concordia University. I am married with a 13 year old son and a Jack Russell terrier as well. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, crocheting and bible study.
Tammy Broesch
My name is Tammy, and I joined the great team at Genesis in September 2008. You will find me at the front desk, ready to schedule your appointments or address any other needs you may have. I also help with the marketing of Genesis, promoting our wonderful doctors to the community. I have a bachelor's degree in communications from UW-Parkside. I am married with two beautiful children and one active puppy who keep me very busy outside of the office. I love spending time with family and friends, and playing competitive vollyball -my long time favorite activity.

Diane McGovern
Hi – My name is Diane and I am the billing supervisor at Genesis. I have been with Dr. Garretto since 2005 and am proud to have been part of the amazing journey of Dr. Joe’s dream to bring Genesis Medical Center to life.
I have been in the medical field for many years and will be able to help you with any questions that you may have concerning your insurance claims or your bills. I enjoy spending time with my married son and daughter-in-law who live nearby and my fireball kitties who melt my heart. I enjoy fishing, reading, stamping and being surrounded by family and friends. I can’t pass up pasta and red wine and am a compassionate bird and animal lover.
Maggie Jurgens
Hi – I’m Maggie and work in the billing office with Diane, following up with you and your insurance companies regarding your claims. I’ve been with Genesis since 2007. I’ve been in the medical field a long time and am ready to help with you any questions you have. I do a lot of “behind the scenes” work that helps make the office run smoother. When I’m not at the office, you may find me at my yoga class or at the bowling alley. I enjoy reading and taking my cocker spaniels for a walk.
Tia Carbone-Koop
Hi! My name is Tia, and I recently joined the Genesis team in November 2009. I work along side Diane and Maggie in billing. I have been in the medical field for 10 years, and a certified biller and coder for five years. I look forward to helping you with any questions you may have. When I'm not in the office you may find me outdoors, hunting or riding the motorcycles. I also enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and my two kids.
MEDICAL RECORDS
Alicia Strom Hi! My name is Alicia and I recently joined Genesis Medical Center in September, 2008. I work in the medical records department and will be happy to help you with any requests for your medical information, whether it's for you or perhaps an insurance company or lawyer. In the past I have worked in the medical field as a receptionist. Although it's been a short time, it has already been a great pleasure to be a part of this clinic. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband, my family and to go shopping.
Kasey Hannes
Hi! My name is Kasey, and I work in the medical records department along with Alicia. I joined Genesis Medical Center in October 2009. Prior to this, I worked at a physical therapy office doing insurance verification, as well as medical records. I am ready and willing to assist you with any medical records requests you may have. Besides working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with my Yorkie, Toby.

Jean Garretto
Hi – my name is Jean and I am the office manager here at Genesis, along with being married to Dr. Garretto, and being mom to our two great daughters. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UW-LaCrosse and I am also an inactive CPA. I will be happy to help you with ANY of your concerns regarding our office. We are here to help you with your medical needs and we will try our best to give you the quality care and time that everyone deserves. When I’m not running around the office, you may find me reading, knitting or stamping.
